Both China and Iran are worldwide countries with their ancient civilizations.The cultural exchanges between the two countries have a long history,lasting more than 2000 years.Since the establish-ment of the Islamic Republic in 1979 after the victory of the Islamic Revolution led by Ayatollah Khomei-ni,the friendly relations between the two countries have been developing continuously and cultural exchan-ges have become an important part among it.Based on a brief review of cultural exchanges history,this paper presents the contemporary cultural exchanges between two countries since 1979 development course,current situation,achievements,characteristics and existing issues,the diachronic review and survey,and the cultural exchanges between the two countries in the future to build the"Belt and Road"of planning in the new era,puts forward the prospect.
