Experimental study on shear resistance of top plate interface of UHPC-NC composite box girder
To investigate the interface shear performance of combined ultra-high performance concrete(UH-PC)and normal concrete(NC)box girder, three types of specimens with different interface treatment meth-ods were designed in this paper, which were respectively untreated, chiseled wool, coated with retarder and washed with water. At the same time, the push-out test of UHPC and NC was conducted to analyze the fail-ure pattern and shear performance of the three types of specimens. The test results show that after the inter-face treatment of the ultra-high performance composite structures with normal concrete, the failure mode of the specimen is the pull-out damage of the normal concrete side, which is the same as the failure mode with-out interface treatment, and the initial shear stiffness of all specimens is similar. However, different inter-face treatment methods have a great impact on the average shear strength of specimens. The average shear strength of specimens after interface treatment is significantly increased compared with that without treat-ment,and is more than 4 times of that without treatment.
