Research on Container Terminal Reservation Strategy Considering Variable Reservation Periods
In order to alleviate the congestion at container terminals,simulation technology was used to model the entire process of collection and distribution from arrival to departure under the reservation mechanism.Based on the randomness of container arrival,evaluation indicators such as the average and maximum queuing time of container entry and exit gates were calculated;The concepts of interleaving rate and variable reservation period are proposed,and comprehensive evalution of the numerical value and change rate of evaluation indicators are made from two different dimensions.Considering a domestic port as an example is used to calculate the optimal interleaving rate and reservation time interval values for reservation trucks by Anylogic simulation software.The simulation results indicate that reservation time interval of to 1 hour is more reasonable for the case port.At this time,the interleaving rate of-25%can greatly improve the average and maximum queuing time at the entrance and exit gates,thereby providing reference for improving the existing gate reservation strategy.
