Based on patent data, this paper presents a model that accurately identifies 591 mobile developers. This paper thoroughly investigates the effect of social capital changes on organizations'innovation capabilities, utilizing the perspective of dynamic network research. The findings demonstrate that the mobility of developers has a positive impact on their innovation abilities by increasing cohesive, bridging, and combined social capital. The technical resemblance of the mobile developers to their current employer positively moderates the relationship between cohesive social capital and innovation ability, but negatively moderates the relationship between bridging social capital and innovation ability. It presents systematic classification techniques for empirical studies concerning the innovation capacity of mobile innovators, and supports corporate supervisors in establishing an internal collaboration platform focused on research and development endeavors with the aim of optimizing resource integration and bolstering competitiveness.
