The manufacturing input servitization is to introduce service factors into manufacturing production to enhance the added value and competitiveness of manufacturing.Based on WIOD and WID panel data, this paper analyzes the two-way effect of manufacturing input servitization on labor income from theoretical and empirical perspectives. The results show that:Manufacturing input servitization can increase the labor income share; The positive impact of manufacturing input servitization on the labor income share of developing economies is greater than that of developed economies, and the driving effect of manufacturing input into domestic services on the income share is greater than that of manufacturing input into producer services and public services.Total factor productivity and intermediate input are the intermediary channels for manufacturing servitization to promote and inhibit labor income share respectively; From the whole industry to the manufacturing industry, the labor income share is negatively related to the income distribution gap.
