Around 1949,in order to restore and develop production,the Communist Party of China(CPC)emphasized labor-capital cooperation,and the collective contract movement in Beijing was the product of this background.Under the leadership of the CPC,the signing of collective contracts is no longer just a game of interests between labor and capital,but also a labor-capital cooperation for the purpose of realizing national interests——developing production,based on the principle of"mutual benefits between labor and capital",and the spirit of democratic consultation runs through the whole process of contract signing and execution.Through the collective contract movement,the Communist Party of China established the new democratic labor-capital relations of"democracy,equality,mutual benefit and contract",which has also thrown important enlightenment on the construction of harmonious labor-capital relations today.
