On the Argumentation Strategies of"Big Tree Fables"Discourse in Zhuangzi:Based on the Perspective of Generalized Argumentation Theory
The text of Zhuangzi is an important carrier of Taoist thought, and the relevant research results are already very rich. However, due to different logical views, the research on Zhuangzi from a logical perspective is not sufficient.By utilizing the theory of generalized argumentation in the study of Zhuangzi, not only can the perspective of ancient Chinese logical research be expanded, but also appropriate supplements can be made to the study of Zhuangzi within the perspective of Chinese philosophy.According to the generalized argumentation research procedure,by analyzing the structural elements of the fables in Zhuangzi,we can select the fables of the same theme to form the discourse of"Big Tree Fables".Then,we investigate the social and cultural background of the fable discourse creation, analyze the case with text interpretation, and use a bottom-up approach to extract the rules on which fable discourse blocks are based,as well as the discourse block functions generated by the corresponding rules; Therefore, the argumentation strategy of"Big Tree Fables"discourse can be described completely from the perspective of generalized argumentation theory.
