Chinese rural areas play an important role in China's economic transformation and mod-ernization.As an important part of China's image,the media image of China's countryside can greatly affect the international community's perception and understanding of China's overall image.This arti-cle adopts the content analysis method,takes the relevant report of Sixth Tone in China's countryside from 2016 to October 31,2023 as the research object,measures from the two dimensions of report form characteristics and report content characteristics,and summarizes the framework and presentation strategy constructed by the report.The study found that Sxith Tone mainly uses six frameworks:"E-conomic Consequences Framework","Medical Health Framework","Ecological Attribution Frame-work","Cultural Expression Framework","Education System Framework"and"Policy Supervision Framework"when reporting on Chinese villages.As an important window for the English-speaking world to understand China,Sixth Tone can show the diversity and complexity of China's countryside from a diversified and comprehensive perspective when constructing and presenting the media image of China's countryside.
