"The General Review of the Press Force":The exhibition of Chinese newspapers and the salvation of the press during the Anti-Japanese War
After the outbreak of the all-out War of Resistance,Chinese newspapers held more than 40 newspaper exhibitions to save the nation.At the time of the national crisis,the newspaper exhibition was given the political meaning of"serving the Anti-Japanese War"and became a position for the propaganda and public opinion mobilization of the Anti-Japanese War.In the ritualized exhibition and observation,the newspaper exhibition accelerated the spread and diffusion of Anti-Japanese War information around the country,and constructed and strengthened the consensus and will of the whole nation to unite in the war of resistance.In addition,the newspaper exhibition also played an important"connection"role,not only objectively demonstrated the achievements of the wartime press in the war of resistance,carried forward the culture of the war of resistance,promoted the unity and cooperation of the press,but also strengthened the blood connection between the press and the public,and provided a realistic platform for the cohesion of the anti-Japanese community.In this sense,the exhibition of Chinese newspapers during the Anti-Japanese War can be described as a"general review"of the wartime news front.
