面向应用程序:作为数字技术志书写的走查法与中国进路

现代人日益普遍地经由应用程序或小程序在数字世界里往返停留。走查法是面向应用程序的一种新研究方法,该方法主张研究者通过亲身走查,逐步观察和记录应用程序的界面、功能以及其中发生的行动流,以此搜集研究资料,其研究过程是研究者与应用程序亲身互动的一种自我追踪实践。本文在追溯走查法流变中提出,从方法的研究关怀向度看,走查法本质上是一种数字技术志书写,在此基础上揭示出走查法蕴含的技术现象学理论底色。同时借助CiteSpace聚类分析发现,目前已形成以走查法揭示应用程序的技术可供性与文化生产、探察应用程序的运作模式与生态特性、阐明应用程序作为技术-文化建构物的深层密码等重点研究主题,这对考察中国社会情境下的应用程序实践具有启发性。最后,结合中国作为应用程序第一消费大国,提出走查法在中国应用前景中的两个关键议题。
Application Oriented:the Walkthrough Method as Digital Technography and its Path in China
Modern people are increasingly frequenting the digital world through applications and mini programs.The walkthrough method is a new research approach for applications,which advocates that researchers gradually observe and record the interface,functions,and action flow of applications through personal practice,in order to collect research data.The research process is a self-tracking interaction between researchers and applications.In tracing the evolution of the walkthrough method,this article proposes that from the perspective of the research care,walkthrough method is essentially a form of digital technography.On this basis,this article reveals the theoretical background of technical phenomenology implied by walkthrough method.Through CiteSpace clustering analysis,it was found that there are currently key research topics such as using walkthrough methods to reveal the technical affordance and cultural production of applications,exploring the operational modes and ecological characteristics of applications,and elucidating the deep passwords of applications as technological-cultural constructs.This is enlightening for examining application practices in the context of Chinese society.Finally,considering China as the largest consumer country of applications,two key issues regarding the application prospects of the walkthrough method in China are proposed.
