Competition·Transference·Convergence:A Study of Social Bots'Involvement Mechanisms in the Strategic Communication Ecology
In the current complex international order and pattern, the strategic communication ecology presents complex and diverse features, especially when social robots are involved, and the various types of information produced by machines continuously make precise cognitive manipulation possible. This study explores the mechanism of how social robots are involved in the strategic communication ecology from three dimensions:competition, transferrence and convergence. In the of dimensions:competition,it attracts public attention and enhances agenda effects; In the dimension of transference,it promotes agenda shifting and the mutual construction of multiple agendas;and in the dimension of convergence,it shortens the agenda lag time and builds a network of relationships. It is found that agenda convergence is not only the construction of relationships between individuals and groups, but also the promotion of public cognitive empathy, thusrealizing cultural integration..And the embedded relationship between social robots and international politics is becoming increasingly closer. Therefore, while discussing the role of social robots in eliminating cognitive bias through agenda convergence, this study further explores the role of social robots in constructing the strategic communication ecology,i.e.,promoting the fusion of implicit and explicit agenda networks, and constructing the plurality of the strategic communication ecology.
