Independent and Collaborative:Interdisciplinary Construction of Knowledge System in Environmental Humanities and Social Sciences
Environmental issues are major,cutting-edge questions that the production systems of contemporary humanities and social sciences knowledge must answer and respond to.Discourse generation and social construction of environment and environmental issues not only come from realistic problems and perceptual cognition of natural environment suffered by human beings in their production and daily life, but are also constructed through the disciplinary development from natural sciences to humanities and social sciences as one part, the interdisciplinary knowledge production and dissemination as the other.Social construction of environmental issues and subjectivity of national environmental protection practices determine the necessity of knowledge independence of the environmental humanities and social sciences based on the nation and its people.China's environmental humanities and social sciences are still at the early stage of development, having not really been deeply planted in the practical soil of China. To construct an independent knowledge system for environmental humanities and social sciences in China,it is necessary to promote independent theoretical construction and knowledge innovation on the basis of our own national conditions and practice. The internal disciplines of environmental humanities and social sciences have closed disciplinary knowledge and insufficient interdisciplinary intersection.Effective mechanism for organic linkage of disciplinary knowledge and disciplinary crossover between disciplines has yet to be actually formed.Promoting the construction of an independent and collaborative knowledge system for environmental humanities and social sciences is an inherent requirement for the systematic development of environmental humanities and social sciences in China and the innovation of its interdisciplinary knowledge production mechanism.
