Innovative Transformation of the Independent Talent Cultivation System in New Liberal Arts
Strengthening the independent talent cultivation system in New Liberal Arts and improving the quality of talent cultivation are not only core objectives in the advancement of New Liberal Arts,but also pivotal responsibilities in establishing a strong educational system.With the support of favorable policies,significant progress has been achieved in developing the talent cultivation system for New Liberal Arts within Chinese higher education institutions.However,challenges persist,particularly concerning autonomy in disciplines,curricula,textbooks,and pedagogical frameworks.The transformation of New Liberal Arts has not kept pace with contemporary developments,as evidenced by the absence of adaptive mechanisms,difficulties in knowledge integration,and limited capacity for iterative innovation.To address these issues,it is imperative to prioritize the innovative transformation of the independent talent cultivation system,continuously refine the structure of disciplines and majors,integrate curricula and textbook systems,promote digital transformation,enhance cross-disciplinary collaboration networks,and establish high-standard hubs for nurturing top-notch talents.
