Digital Presence:Reconstructing the Communication Paradigm of Visual Images in the Age of Social Media
The advent of digital technology and the proliferation of the Internet of Everything have profoundly transformed the communication paradigm,ushering in an era where media transcend their traditional boundaries.This shift has led to the emergence of a vibrant array of communication subjects and objects,morphing into image paradigms and becoming integral to the pan-media and algorithm-driven milieu of everyday life.This new discourse generation mechanism has altered the scale and dynamics of information flow,underscoring a loosely coupled,distributed interactive synergy among media carriers and the dissemination of information.This transformation reflects a significant shift in visual culture and the innovation of communication media.This paper delves into the paradigm of image communication and its genealogical reconstruction,aiming to mitigate the detrimental effects of visual communication on the rationality of discourse.By exploring the innovative structuring of image communication,this study addresses corrections in the realms of order,representation,and integration,fostering the genealogical reconstruction of image communication from potentiality to actuality.This process is supported by collaborative and disciplinary interventions,highlighting the evolution and impact of visual communication in the digital age.Through this analysis,the paper contributes to the understanding of how visual communication's rhetorical paradigm can be improved,promoting a more coherent and integrated approach to image communication in the context of contemporary technological and cultural shifts.
