Currently, public discussions in cyberspace demonstrate a blend of entertainment and social interaction, with shifting themes and lasting effects on topics gaining prominence in public opinion discourse. However, discussions within communication studies encounter challenges such as narrow focus, fragmented logic, and lack of depth. This paper aims to apply the analytical framework of"topic evolution"to communication studies, focusing on the highly impactful event of E-commerce influencer Li Jiaqi's"angry rebuttal to netizens."Through social network analysis spanning themes, emotions, and behaviors, the study examines the characteristics, associations, and evolutionary logic of each node across different stages in time. The findings reveal a trend of interconnected shifts in themes, emotions, and behaviors, marked by sudden shifts in behavior and fluctuations in emotion. However, amidst polarization and fragmentation, there is also continuity in the network structure.Throughout the evolution process, emotions act as"adhesive,"while behaviors serve as the"metronome,"resulting in a complex spatiotemporal intertwining of topic evolution.Drawing inspiration from this research, the paper proposes a new approach to network analysis termed integrated and collaborative evolution. This approach emphasizes horizontal and vertical integration,inter-network collaboration, and dynamic evolution.
