In the era of visual communication,various forms of imagery-such as films,television,online videos,and electronic games-have created new spaces for image-based communication.Promoting outstanding traditional Chinese culture through these visual mediums has become a key method for the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese cultural heritage.From the perspective of the multiple proximities theory,this article examines the Chinese classic Journey to the West as the creative foundation for the game Black Myth:Wukong.The focus is on exploring content,value,and method consensus within the proximity of cultural circles,cultural concepts,and cultural representations.Through this analysis,the article seeks to identify pathways for constructing consensus in the cross-cultural communication of traditional Chinese cultural images in the new era.
