摘要
作为西方舶来品,建设性新闻的传播效果及作用机制亟待检验.该研究以健康传播为切口,从积极情绪的扩展和建构理论出发,对218名大学生开展实验.研究发现,和普通新闻相比,建设性新闻能给受众带来较高的积极情感、较低的风险感知,但也降低了受众的传播意愿;积极情感是阅读不同类型的新闻和产生传播及行动意愿的中介,风险感知仅是阅读不同类型的新闻和产生行动意愿的中介.该研究揭示了建设性新闻在健康传播中的影响,丰富了有关风险感知的研究,未来的研究可以选择不同的内容话题,多维度考察其传播效果.
Abstract
Constructive news is a concept that originated in the West.Its communication effect and mechanism need to be tested.With insights from the broaden-and-build theory of positive emotions,this study conducted experiments on 218 college students regarding health communication.It found that,compared with ordinary news,constructive news brought higher positive emotions and lower risk perceptions to the audience.However,it also reduced the audience's willingness to spread the news.Positive emotion is the mediator between reading different types of news and the intention of behavior and communication,while risk perception is only the mediator between reading different types of news and the intention of behavior.This study reveals the role of constructive news in health communication and enriches the research on risk perception.Future research can choose different topics to examine its media effects in multiple dimensions.
