Australia started early in the construction of digitization and informatization and is also one of the earliest countries in the world to pay attention to cyber security.With the increasing integration of various governmental,commercial and public affairs with cyberspace,Australia,in response to serious cyber security risks and with the goal of building a stronger cyber defense system,has introduced multiple strategies,policies,laws,and regulations.It emphasizes the development of the industry as a pivotal force to enhance cyber security capabilities,with the goal of forming a prosperous and orderly cyber security ecosystem as a whole by 2030.This paper provides an overview of the strategic and industrial situation of cyber security in Australia from four aspects:policies and regulations,organizational structure,industrial development and talent pool.
