Under the background of promoting the development of the western region in the new era and accelerating the new industrialization,it is of great significance to fully leverage the unique resource endowments and intelligent computing infrastructure advantages of the Western region to drive the comprehensive and in-depth development of the artificial intelligence(AI)industry and empower the intelligent and green upgrading of the industrial system.it takes Ningxia as an example,and based on an analysis of the frontiers of AI industry development at home and abroad,this paper takes the AI industry map and enterprise development process as the framework.By systematically summarizing the current work foundation and achievements of Ningxia,this paper explores a feasible implementation path and specific measures for AI industry empowerment of Ningxia's new industrialization development from five aspects:strengthening the foundation,leveraging the empowerment advantages,assisting enterprise transformation,supporting industrial upgrading,and enhancing service guarantee.
