The Research on Standardization of Biometric Data Interchange Formats
In order to improve interconnection and interoperability between biometric systems,it is necessary to consider standardization in data interchange format of biometric.This paper introduces the background,significance,and the standardization development of home and broad for biometric data interchange formats.This work focuses on series standards of the extensible biometric data interchange formats,including framework,finger image data,face image data,iris image data,vascular image data,full body image data and gait image sequence data,which propose standardization suggestions for multiple biometric modalities.
