Standard interpretation of Cloud Operating System Performance Test Indicators and Measurement Methods
To address issues such as inconsistent performance metrics of different cloud operating systems and the lack of standardized measurement methods for the same metric,the national standard GB/T 42140-2022"Information technology-Cloud computing-Cloud operating system performance test metrics and measurement method"has been developed.This paper provides an interpretation of the key points of the standard.It specifies the technical framework for cloud operating systems and introduces innovative indicators and measurement methods such as response time percentile and average response time variance to focus on performance efficiency metrics.This standard can guide the evaluation of performance efficiency in cloud operating systems,provide a basis for procurement decisions by users,and promote high-quality development within the cloud computing industry.
