Research on Electrothermal Ice Melting Characteristics of Multi Walled Carbon Nanotube Cement-based Composite Materials
In order to study the electrothermal ice melting characteristics of carbon nanotube cement-based composites,a cement based composite material with a carbon nanotube content of 0.05% was used to experimentally study its electrical resistivity at different ages. Then, ice melting experiments were conducted to simulate and test its ice melting quality under different voltages and specimen sizes. The results show:the electrical resistivity of carbon nanotube cement-based composites increases with age;the quality of ice melting increases with the size of the specimen and the increase of the applied voltage. The ice melting quality increases by 48.1% when a 60 V voltage is applied to the specimen compared to when there is no voltage. From this,it can be seen that the electric heating characteristics of cement-based composites with a carbon nanotube content of 0.05% are influenced by age, specimen size, and voltage. When an external voltage of 60 V is applied, the material has the best ice melting ability, which can melt about 60 g of ice within 200 minutes.
