Unconfined Compressive Strength Test of Cement-modified BRAC Mixed Fillers
The strength specimens were prepared by adding appropriate curing agent to the mixture of building recycled aggregate and clay mixed filler(referred to as BRAC mixed filler)according to the requirements of maximum dry density and compactness. The unconfined compressive strength test was carried out to investigate the effects of recycled aggregate, cement content and different curing ages on the mechanical properties and compressive strength. The results show that with the increase of recycled aggregate, cement content and curing time, the unconfined compressive strength of mixed fillers increases, and the mixed fillers show plastic failure at early stage and brittle failure at late curing stage. The cohesion and internal friction angle increase with the increase of recycled aggregate, cement content and age, which significantly im-prove the compressive strength and water stability of the material.
