The Effect of Mix Ratio of Blast Furnace Slag Sand and Recycled Coarse Aggregate on Concrete Performance
Aiming at the problem of insufficient durability and strength of recycled aggregate concrete, the concrete samples with different proportions were designed, and different contents of blast furnace slag sand and recycled aggregate were introduced for composite modification. The effects of the combined use of blast furnace slag sand and recycled coarse aggregate on the freeze-thaw resistance, compressive strength and water permeability of concrete were analyzed through the systematic performance evaluation of each group of samples. The experimental results show that the compressive strength of the concrete mixed with blast furnace slag sand and recycled coarse aggregate is equivalent to that of conventional concrete after 28 days of curing. The freeze-thaw resistance and bleeding performance of the concrete prepared by using blast furnace slag sand instead of 50% crushed sand are significantly improved.
