The rational use of virtual desktop technology has become an important method to promote the process of laboratory construction.The article takes an overview of virtual desktop technology and the current situation of multimedia laboratories in universities as the starting point,taking a normal university as an example,to explore in detail the specific application of virtual desktop technology in university multimedia laboratories,in order to provide reference for the construction of multimedia laboratories in universities.
