The Relationship Between Digital Economy,Human Capital and Industrial Structure Upgrading:PVAR Model Based on Provincial Panel Data
Based on the panel data of 30 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities(except Xizang)in China from 2011 to 2020,a panel vector autoregression model(PVAR)is constructed to study the relationship among digital economy,human capital and industrial structure upgrading by means of Granger causality test,impulse response analysis and variance decomposition.The research shows that:the digital economy can effectively promote human capital while the reverse is not true;both the upgrading and the rationalization of industrial structure can optimize and improve human capital while the reverse is not true;and digital economy plays a more significant role in promoting the rationalization of industrial structure than in promoting the upgrading of industrial structure.Some suggestions are put forward according to the research results.
