Advantages, Difficulties, and Exploration of Northeast China Taking the Lead in Realizing Agricultural Modernization
General secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly made the important statement of "taking the lead in a-chieving agricultural modernization" in Northeast China. Agricultural modernization is a dynamic historical process of continuous and sustainable development of agriculture in the five aspects of supply security, scientif-ic and technological equipment, management system, industrial resilience, and competitiveness, which is ac-companied by the transformation of productive forces and production relations. " Taking the lead in realizing ag-ricultural modernization" means that a region has a profound realistic foundation and plays an important lead-ing role in these five aspects. As an important commodity grain base in China, the Northeast region has great strategic significance and development potential to take the lead in realizing agricultural modernization. Howev-er, there are also urgent problems that need to be solved at present, and advantages and dilemmas coexist. In the context of the new round of northeast revitalization, the northeast region must firmly grasp its strategic posi-tioning in the overall national development situation, based on the advantages of agricultural development, fo-cus on solving practical dilemmas, explore the path of agricultural modernization development, and take on the historical mission of building a strong agricultural country.
