Based on the survey data from large scale private enterprises in Jiangsu Province from 2011 to 2018,this paper empirically tested the effect of technical standards on the autonomy of enterprises'key technologies and analyzed the moderating mechanism of OFDI.It is found that enterprises'involvement in the development of technical standards significantly contributes to the autonomy of key technologies of enterpri-ses.In particular,heading the development of technical standards has a greater impact compared to merely participating in standards development.OFDI(Outward Foreign Direct Investment)plays a positive modera-ting role in this impact.The exogenous investment information and the information consulting agencies are prerequisites for the effective moderation of OFDI.
