Personal Information Protection Misconducts in the Era of Digital Intelligence:An AIGC-Assisted Grounded Theory Analysis
The extensive collection and deep utilization of personal information in the era of data intelli-gence highlight the significance of identifying misconducts in personal information protection.This study,guided by the current personal information protection laws and regulations,qualitatively analyzed 2100 cases of violations of laws.It aimed to identify common prevailing misconducts in safeguarding personal information during data processing activities.AIGC technology was introduced in the analytical process of Grounded The-ory to categorize the identified misconducts.As a result,we identified eleven major categories and fifty-five subcategories of personal information protection conducts.We then particularly discussed key issues in per-sonal information protection in the age of data intelligence.The findings of this study can not only offer a the-oretical framework for future research in the field of personal information protection but also provide decision support for various organizations and government regulatory authorities.
