Fukuyama's logical criticism of the construction of"the end of history"
Fukuyama's"the end of history"regards liberal democracy as the final form of human political system.Fukuyama regards the recognition of consciousness as the core content of human nature and advocates universal rec-ognition as the direction of historical development. However, this view of human nature is divorced from life practice and does not have any reality. He believes that liberal democracy achieves the universalization of recognition and constitutes the"end of history",but when defining the concepts of"end of history"and"liberal democracy",he confuses the difference between the concept of liberal democracy and the model of liberal democracy. He regards the western democratic model as a universal model of social development and uses it to evaluate the basic political sys-tems of other countries.Fukuyama ignored the particularity and history of the formation of the political system, and regarded the political development as the promotion of western-style democracy, and the"end of history theory"is simply a"western centric theory"presented in a universal pattern.
