摘要
作为美国现代文学的先驱和教父,舍伍德·安德森注重在作品中展现人物的精神世界,创设了一种真实与虚幻交错之感.在其代表作《小城畸人》之中,安德森通过构建住宅、街道和整个温士堡镇的空间意象与隐喻内涵,不仅展现了温士堡小镇的社会生活图景,更探讨了身处美国社会转型期间人们的不适与扭曲,以及最终成为"畸形人"的心路历程.
Abstract
As the pioneer and godfather of modern American literature,Sherwood Anderson focuses on portraying the spiritual world of characters in his works,creating a sense of interweaving reality and illusion.In his representative work Winesburg,Ohio,Anderson not only presents the social life scene of the town of Windsor by constructing spatial imagery and metaphorical connotations of housing,streets,and the entire town of Windsor,but also explores the dis-comfort and distortion of people during the period of American social transformation,as well as the psychological process of eventually becoming a"freak".
