Abstract
Based on the theory of Translation Quality Assessment model of Juliane House and its procedure of operation, this paper applies this process in analyzing and contrasting Zhang Peiji's and Pollard's English versions of The Sight of Father's Back to make up for the lack of research on Pollard's version in recent years.
