Promoting mutual progress between high-quality development of the manufacturing industry and employment expansion and quality improvement——Taking manufacturing employment in Shanghai as an example
The high-quality development of man-ufacturing industry and the realization of employment expansion and quality improvement are the due mean-ings of new industrialization.As the core leading city of the world-class urban agglomeration in the Yangtze River Delta with global influence,Shanghai's manufac-turing industry has been continuously upgraded in recent years,and a new pattern of mutual promotion and improvement of employment expansion and quality has basically taken shape,which is manifested in the continuous enhancement of the competitive advantage of the manufacturing industry,the obvious improvement of high-quality labor capacity,the structural improve-ment of the labor market,the significant improvement of the employment quality of key groups,the continuous improvement of employment security ability,and the lasting improvement of the efficiency of public employment services.However,at present,the short and medium-term factors in Shanghai are weaker than the expectation in increasing the docking of manu-facturing industry and employment supply,the high-quality development of manufacturing industry is not suitable for the regional labor market,and the coordi-nation of modern public employment services still needs to be improved.In this regard,it is suggested to accelerate the coordination and integration of employ-ment policies and related policies,promote the con-struction of a convenient and shared labor market sys-tem,and improve the modern public employment service system.
