Preliminary study of Deng Xiaoping's democratic thought under the perspective of whole-process people's democracy:generative basis,multidimensional perspective and enlightenment of the time
The Communist Party of China is a clear-cut Marxist ruling party,which has always atta-ched great importance to democratic construction and given full play to its democratic utility.Deng Xiaoping's democratic thought was jointly founded by the second generation of the collective leadership of the CPC Cen-tral Committee.As an organic part of Deng Xiaoping Theory,it is the bright crystallization and typical repre-sentative of the socialist democratic thought in the new era,and has played a very important role in promoting the cause of socialist democracy.From the perspective of the formation basis,this thought has a deep theoreti-cal origin,profound cultural foundation and rich practi-cal foundation.In terms of the basic content,Deng Xi-aoping believed that democracy is crucial to Socialism;in terms of value orientation,he stressed the support of the people;in terms of following the principle,he insis-ted democratic centralism;in terms of goal pursuit,he put forward"the more socialism develops,the more de-mocracy flourishes";in terms of system guarantee,he adhered to strengthening the legal system.Reviewing and sorting out the basic sources and innovative content of Deng Xiaoping's democratic thought is con-ducive to summarizing the democratic experience in the new era of socialism,and has important time enlighten-ment for promoting the whole-process people's democ-racy.
