The practice and application of Deng Xiaoping's thought of united front in the peaceful liber-ation period of Xizang effectively maintained the unifi-cation of the motherland and national unity,and became a standing ideological monument in the snowy plateau,which still profoundly affects the stability and development of Xizang.On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of Comrade Deng Xiaoping's birth,this paper takes the peaceful liberation of Xizang as a per-spective to summarize and refine the practice and con-tribution of Deng Xiaoping's thought of united front during the liberation of Xizang,in order to express gratitude to this great leader.
