The thought and practice of"great unity"from the perspective of Chinese nation community consciousness
As a political ideal for multi-ethnic countries to pursue and maintain national unity,"grand unification"is not only the idea and goal advocated and pursued by the agricultural ethnic regime,but also by the nomadic ethnic regime,and has always run through the development course of the Chinese nation.In the course of the continuous advancement of history,al-though the connotation of the idea of"great unity"is different,after generations of development and im-provement,it has formed a theoretical system with rich scientific connotation,and gradually sublimated into the value recognition and common pursuit of the deep feelings of the Chinese people of all ethnic groups,lay-ing a solid ideological foundation for the formation and development of the Chinese nation's sense of community in the new era,providing a strong theoretical support and laying a deep cultural founda-tion.The concrete practice of"great unity"in various historical periods is actually the process of the con-struction of the early Chinese nation community and the formation of the pluralistic unity pattern of the Chi-nese nation.Based on the requirements of the new era,this paper explores the historical context of the formation of the sense of community of the Chinese na-tion,and excavates the historical memory of the co-creation of the Chinese nation,which is of great benefit to enhancing historical identity and enhancing cultural self-confidence.
