Empowering the Integrated Development of Urban and Rural Areas through the Construction of the Modern Industrial System:Logic,Challenges and Implementation Paths
As an important material and technological foundation for a modern country,the establishment of the modern industrial system significantly contributes to promoting the integrated development of urban and rural areas.This is achieved through various means such as accelerating the transformation and upgrading of traditional agriculture,facilitating the integrated growth of urban and rural industries,ensuring the seamless movement of resources between urban and rural areas,and promoting the modernization of rural area.In order to promote the construction of the modern industrial system and better empower the integrated development of urban and rural industries,the paper summarized the most critical practical obstacles,which are the limited flow of urban and rural factors,inefficient utilization of rural space,challenges in developing modern agriculture,and insufficient support from county governments.To overcome these challenges,the paper correspondingly put forward policy suggestions of breaking down institutional barriers that restrict the flow of resources between urban and rural areas,promoting the development of a modern rural spatial governance system,increasing investment in modern agricultural industries,and strengthening support from county government for the construction of the modern industrial system.
