Research on the Pathway for New Infrastructure in Digital Society
The breakthrough of digital technology revolution and digital technology industrialization has opened up new forms of the digital economy and a new era of digital civilization.Therefore,social infrastructure needs to be correspondingly transformed.The infrastructure of the digital society manifests in the form of technological engineering,and can also be derived into the form of digital industry,serving as both a management tool and a public utility.In response to the new characteristics presented by digital infrastructure,traditional infrastructure needs to be iteratively upgraded through digital technology empowerment.Also,a new technological infrastructure,a system supporting economic and social functions,and a security infrastructure maintaining the economic and social order are needed.To seize the opportunity of infrastructure construction,China should take lead in breaking through"0-1"technological innovation and strengthen the construction of institutional infrastructure with legal rules,to facilitate the extraterritorial governance system and the cultivation of digital infrastructure industry clusters,which can consolidate the cornerstone of digital economy and open up a new era of digital civilization.
