Risk factors for preeclampsia in primiparas:a Meta-analysis
Objective:To evaluate the risk factors for preeclampsia in primiparas. Methods:Literature on risk factors for preeclampsia in primiparas was retrieved from domestic and foreign databases, and Meta-analysis was performed. The robustness of the results was verified by sensitivity analysis, and the Egger's test was used for the publication bias test. Results:A total of 15 articles were included, involving 3 093 792 primiparas in preeclampsia.Meta-analysis results showed that hypertension(OR=2.775,95%CI 1.164-6.617),diabetes(OR=2.650,95%CI 1.280-5.487),age(OR=1.512,95%CI 1.069-2.139),BMI(OR=1.949,95%CI 1.497-2.537),organic heart disease(OR=2.568,95%CI 2.013-3.276)were risk factors for preeclampsia in primiparas;drinking(OR=0.556,95%CI 0.351-0.882)and smoking(OR=0.734,95%CI 0.606-0.889)were protective factors for preeclampsia in primiparas.Egger's test showed that the literature included the BMI index had publication bias(t=2.69,P=0.025).Conclusions:Current evidence shows that hypertension, diabetes, age, and organic heart disease are definite risk factors for the onset of preeclampsia in primiparas.
