摘要
五爷信仰属于五台山区域的龙王信仰.五台山是中国四大佛教名山之一,其中五爷庙香火最旺.五爷信仰不仅是中国传统的五龙思想与佛教的龙王文化相结合的产物,也是佛教这一正统宗教在地方化实践中与民间信仰不断交融的结果,还体现着国家力量与民间社会在双向互动中的策略实践.五台山区域佛教信仰与民间信仰的并置是中国传统文化中整体性、包容性的重要体现,其信仰体系的形成与发展也成为中国文化交往交流交融中实现文明互鉴的成功案例.
Abstract
The belief of Five Masters belongs to the belief of Dragon King in Mount Wutai District.The Five Lord Faith is not only a product of the combination of traditional Chinese Five Dragon Thought and the Dragon King Culture of Buddhism,but also the result of the continuous integration of Buddhism,an orthodox religion,with folk beliefs in localization practice.It also reflects the strategic prac-tice of two-way interaction between national power and civil society.The juxtaposition of Buddhist beliefs and folk beliefs in Mount Wutai District is an important embodiment of the integrity and inclusiveness of Chinese traditional culture.The formation and develop-ment of Mount Wutai's belief system has also become a successful case of achieving civilization mutual learning in Chinese cultural ex-changes and exchanges.
