Research on the Application of Analogy in Teaching the Theory of Fixed Axis Rotation of Rigid Bodies
Based on the very similar nature and characteristics of fixed axis rotation of rigid body and linear motion of a particle,this article mainly studies the application of analogy method in the teaching process of rigid body fixed axis rotation theory.For the two major fields of classical motion-kinematics and dynamics-in the process of teaching implementation,utilizing the similarity in mathematical form and the inherent connection between physical quantities of the two movements,the angular quantities in the difficult to understand rotation theory are compared with the linear quantities in the familiar linear motion of particles.With the help of understanding the thinking mode of linear motion of particles,a deep understanding of the various physical quantities and corresponding physical laws of fixed axis rotation of rigid bodies is achieved,thus,a feasible and simplified paradigm is provided for the teaching of this part of the content.
