An Analysis of Medical Tourism Resources and Utilization Pattern in Tai-Xin Integrated Economic Zone
Medical tourism resources are redefined from the perspective of regional"integration of tourism,medical and health care re-sources",and local residents as the biggest beneficiaries of tourism development.With the help of GIS spatial processing methods,com-bined with the closest neighbor index,the Gini coefficient,the kernel density analysis and the scale index to analyze the characteristics of spatial distribution and utilization patterns of medical tourism resources of Taixin Integration Economic Zone.The study analyzes the spatial distribution characteristics and utilization patterns of tourism resources in the Taixin Integrated Economic Zone.The study shows that the spatial distribution characteristics of medical tourism resources in Taixi Integration Economic Zone have four aspects:(1)medi-cal tourism resources show the spatial distribution characteristics of"overall dispersion and local agglomeration";(2)the distribution of medical tourism resources in the 12 municipal districts and counties is not balanced;(3)the southern region has the largest and most concentrated medical tourism resources;(4)The dense areas of spatial distribution of medical tourism resources in the Taixin Integra-tion Economic Zone,i.e.,Yingze District,Wanbailin District,Xinghualing District,and Jiancaoping District,are almost the same as the dense areas of its population distribution.Based on the analysis of the spatial distribution of medical tourism resources,the following uti-lization ideas are proposed:(1)the development mode of"tourism,healthcare and integration"shared by the host and the guest;(2)constructing a medical and healthcare tourism industry agglomeration model on the basis of industrial integration and development.The study provides a theoretical basis for the spatial optimization and high-quality development of Taixin Integrated Economic Zone.
