Degree Category Construction of"XA"in Dalian Dialect
This paper analyzes the structure,meaning and source of"XA"in Dalian dialect,and probes into the characteristics of the degree category in Dalian dialect.From the perspective of structure,"X"in the construction of"XA"is mostly monosyllabic word with imaginary meaning,and"A"is mostly monosyllabic adjective;The combination of"X"and"A"is customary rather than universal.From the meaning point of view,"XA"construction has a strong subjective emotion color or image color,the degree of expression is deep;From the source,the"X"in the construction of"XA"mainly comes from nouns,adjectives and verbs,and is grammaticalized as a prefix.The XA construction of Dalian dialect is closely related to the similar constructions in Northeast Mandarin and Ji-Lu Mandarin,but different from the similar constructions in Southern dialect.
