"尽其心"何以"知其性"?——兼析孟子的心性论

摘要
孟子的心性学说主要讨论人应当如何存在这一基本问题,其实质是如何建构最崇高的人格德性.这一问题的论证是在成"圣"是从"天"之所为到"人"皆可成思想转变的前提下,通过"尽其心"乃"知其性"而展开的.由于"尽其心"之"心"在意指上的不确定,不仅使"知其性"之"知"与"性"难以通达,而且也未能使"思"在"尽其心"与"知其性"之间实现有效勾连.这样的矛盾并非孟子理论思维的错误,而是理性的困境所致.
Abstract
The Mencius'theory in heart and nature is mainly about the basic problems"how the people should be exist",its essence is"how to construct the most noble moral character".This problem is demonstrated by"Showing the heart"to"know the human nature"in the premise of changing from Destiny decision to people being capable of it.Due to the"heart"of"Showing the heart"refers to the uncertainty,It is difficult to understand the"knowledge"and"nature"of"knowing the nature","thinking"failed to make contact be-tween"Showing the heart"and"know the human nature"as well.This contradiction theory is not Mencius thinking errors,but rational dilemma.
