The Construction of International Investment Dispute Settlement Mechanism Under the Perspective of"One Belt,One Road"
Currently,countries along the"Belt and Road"often adopt ICSID,WTO and other dispute settlement mechanisms when facing international investment dispute settlement.The study finds that the existing international investment dispute settlement mechanisms have a small scope of cases,lack of appeal mechanism,a single way of relief,and lack of uniformity in institutional settings.By analyzing the specific connotation of the construction of international investment dispute settlement mechanism under the"Belt and Road"initia-tive,the article mainly focuses on expanding the scope of cases under the international investment dispute settlement mechanism appro-priately,setting up an appeal mechanism for international investment disputes in terms of procedural settings,and promoting the con-struction of a multifaceted dispute settlement institution combining consultation,mediation and arbitration,to construct a specialized in-ternational investment dispute settlement mechanism,and to construct a specialized international investment dispute settlement mecha-nism.The article mainly focuses on the construction of a specialized international investment dispute settlement center.
