A Study on the Intervention of Group Psychological Counseling on the Sense of Life Meaning of Junior High School Students
To explore the impact of group psychological counseling on the sense of meaning in life of junior high school students,this study adopted an experimental design of pre-and post tests in the experimental group and control group.40 junior high school students from X Middle School were selected as the research subjects,and the experimental group students were intervened.The control group students did not receive any experimental treatment.Used SPSS 20.0 for statistical analysis of pre-and post test life meaning data.The results show that:Before the group psychological counseling intervention,the baseline level of the two groups of participants'sense of meaning in life was consistent;After intervention,there were significant differences in the sense of life meaning and measurement values of various dimensions between the experimental group and the control group(p<0.05);The scores of the experimental group's sense of life meaning and various dimensions in the post test were higher than those in the pre test,with significant differences(p<0.05).Group psychological counseling is effective in improving the sense of meaning in life for junior high school students,and can be promoted in activities related to life education for junior high school students,serving the development of high-quality education for junior high school students.
