How does the Digital Economy Enable Common Prosperity:Empirical Analysis Based on Typical Cases of National Common Prosperity Demonstration Area
Promoting the realization of common prospe rity with the development of digital economy is an important issue of Chinas high-quality development.By constructing an evaluation index system including 4 dimensions and 31 measurement indicators,a typical case study of 12 countries common prosperity demonstration areas shows that the digital economy promotes the realization of common prosperity by promoting the general growth of macro economy,the decentralization of industrial layout,the equalization of basic public services and the balanced growth of individual income.However,at the same time,in the process of driving common prosperity,the digital economy also has problems such as digital monopoly increasing the cost of social progress,the relative gap between the expansion of the digital divide and the development of the digital divide,digital barriers blocking the circulation of market factors,and digital labor leading to individual alienation and development,blocking the effect of the digital economy enabling common prosperity.Based on this,it is necessary to coordinate the development pattern of digital economy,promote the development of digital industrialization,construct a digital ecology of tolerance and mutual trust,balanced growth and inclusive development of digital economy,and better play the role of digital economy in promoting common prosperity.
