Value Co-Creation Logic and Optimization in Kitchen Waste Utilization——A Case Study from Qingdao's Z Community
Enhancing the capacity for kitchen waste resource utilization among residents in older neighborhoods is not only a crucial step towards promoting source separation and reduction of domestic waste, but also an essential requirement for establishing green communities. From the theoretical standpoint of value co-creation and through the case study of the Z community in Qingdao, the logic of value cocreation in food waste resource utilization encompasses three aspects:social value co-creation,knowledge value co-creation,and cultural value co-creation.However,it faces the challenge of sustainability due to the lack of a robust governance community,a regular mechanism for knowledge updating, and a systematic institutional system. To enhance the effectiveness of kitchen waste resource utilization,it is imperative to expedite the development of the governance community, foster a sense of identity towards green activities, and amplify the impact of system and technology. This will enhance the vitality of social value co-creation,the capability of knowledge value co-creation,and the effectiveness of cultural value co-creation in kitchen waste resource utilization.
