Repa dance is an integral part of Repa art,and the Repa drum is an essential prop in the performance of Repa dance.The author interviewed representative local Repa drum production artists in Xizang,Yunnan,Henan,and other places and visited modern semi-mechanized Repa drum production workshops to understand the basic steps of pure manual and semi-mechanized production of Repa drum and the innovative and dynamic development in living inheritance,aiming to provide references for the inheritance of Repa drum production techniques.
