The Brief Biography of Tsangyang Gyatso is another academic masterpiece by Mr.Basang Norbu.It is considered the sister work to another previously published work,Secret Paradise Mon Region-The Historical and Legal Status of Mon Region.This article,in the form of an essay,sketches the relationship between the biography and the following three songs:"Hymn of Mon Region"created before A Brief Biography of Tsangyang Gyatso,"Lam gro"which was referred to compose music for"Tales about Tsangyang Gyatso"during the formation process,and"Song of Tsangyang Gyatso"created after the manuscript was published.This article aims to honor Mr.Basang Norbu for his exceptional work on the natural ecology and social history of the Mon region and his exploration of the footprints of Tsangyang Gyatso.
